Translink Strempel announces acquisition of URS Dolder AG, specialist in railway heating solutions, by Faiveley Transport

Translink Corporate Finance acted as exclusive Financial Adviser to URS Dolder AG

Translink Strempel is glad to announce the acquisition of 80% of URS Dolder AG, specialist in railway heating solutions, by Faiveley Transport, one of the world’s leading suppliers of railway systems.

URS Dolder AG, founded in 1950, is based in Haegenhorf in Switzerland. The company produces heating devices for the railway industry, with over 30 000 devices installed on rail vehicles.

This acquisition will enable Faiveley Transport to offer a complete system of railway air treatment - heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) - with innovative custom made solutions, both for local Swiss customers and for other constructors and operators worldwide.

By joining the Faiveley Transport Group, URS Dolder AG will benefit from Faiveley Transport’s world wide presence to conquer new markets.

The CEO and owner of URS Dolder AG, Christian Dolder, will continue to lead the company in order to further grow Dolder and ensure complete integration into the Faiveley Transport’s global network.
