Partners:
David Strempel has worked for and advised some of the world’s leading multinationals both in Europe and the United States and has a long history of experience with small & medium-sized capital transactions. Before founding Strempel & Partners, the predecessor firm to Strempel & Company, he was Co-owner and Managing Director of Informed Sources Ltd., a high-level corporate strategy firm sold in 2002 to Mercer Management Consulting (part of the Marsh & McLennan Group). He joined Informed Sources from America Online (AOL) in the UK where he was head of finance and operations. Prior to AOL, he worked five years for Bertelsmann during which time he helped launch and run BMG’s video games division (later merged with Take 2 Interactive) and was head of strategy for BMG International. David is a qualified accountant (CPA) and began his career in 1982 with KPMG in Frankfurt. He later joined Price Waterhouse working as a Manager both in their Milan and New York offices. Following Price Waterhouse, he joined AWT, Inc. (Veolia Environnement) as Group Controller.
He is able to conduct business in his native English, Italian and German.
Gianni Laudato is a senior executive with a history of high profile positions as Chief Financial Officer and Managing Director in multinational industrial groups; examples of his executive positions include: International Finance Manager at GTE Telecommunications SpA, operating in the telecom sector in Italy and abroad, with 6.500 employees; Chief Financial Officer at Ercole Marelli SpA, a company listed on the Milan Stock Exchange, operating in the electro-mechanical and energy sectors; Chief Financial Officer of the Group and Managing Director of the Italian operating companies at Schiapparelli SpA, a holding company listed on the Milan Stock Exchange and operating in the pharmaceutics, cosmetics, diagnostics, biotech and food & beverage industries. At Schiapparelli, Gianni spent 25 years, managing important acquisitions, joint-ventures, divestitures in Italy and abroad, equity and debt operations on listed companies, financial and industrial restructurings. In recent years Gianni founded S.I.L.V.A. SpA (Managing Director, owning 33% of the shares), a company operating in the high end Beverage/Spirits industry; acted as a Strategic consultant in the Beverage industry; joined MIT.FIN SpA (M&A and Corporate Finance advisory house) in late 2007 as Senior Executive Advisor. Since March 2010, Gianni is Senior Partner at Strempel & Company. Gianni can conduct his work in Italian, English and French.
Alberto Parisi Presicce is a finance professional with extensive international equity experience with private as well as public companies and has advised several SMEs with their IPOs on the London market. Alberto began his career as an Equity Analyst for ABN Amro in London, where he was part of the Pan-European Transport Equity Research Team. In 2003 he joined Market Capital, an Anglo-Italian investment banking boutique in Milan, where he advanced to the position of Head of Corporate Finance and followed several transactions, from advisory for IPOs (including the first ever IPO of an Italian company in London), private placements, LBOs and M&A transactions. Alberto graduated with Distinction in Political Science from the "La Sapienza" University of Rome in 1998. He gained an MSc in Finance with Distinction from Cass Business School in London in 2000. Alberto is qualified as a CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) and is a member of the Italian CFA Society. Alberto is fluent in both English and his native Italian.
Marcello Tajani (non-executive partner) has in-depth experience in corporate law and company restructuring. He founded his own legal practice in 1981 – Studio Legale Tajani following an experience in industry as a manager. His firm is focused on corporate matters including contract and company law as well as insolvency and bankruptcy proceedings. Since 1987 he has been the court appointed administrator for the E. Marelli Group, Gruppo Confalonieri and Annovati SpA. He has held numerous board and supervisory level appointments including being the President of Locafit SpA (the factoring arm of BNL) as well as having held the positions of director, member and president of the board of auditors within companies such as Eptafin SpA, Mondadori Leasing SpA, Interbanca Gestioni SpA, BNL vita SpA and ASAM SpA (the infrastructure holding company for the Province of Milan). In these roles, Marcello carried out significant financial and industrial restructuring activities including asset and company disposals.

Massimo Bianchi has over 30 years of experience in executive and financial management having held CEO and COO roles for companies of varying sizes active in diverse sectors. Massimo’s professional career began within the Italian subsidiaries of leading multinationals such as Continental Oil Company (CONOCO) and Grace. Massimo was later to apply his Anglo-Saxon foundation within Italian companies such as Gaggia SpA (coffee making machines) where he was the Chief Operating Officer for 10 years, after having been its Chief Administrative Officer. His financial advisory experience includes having directly participated in corporate restructurings, start-ups and leveraged buyouts. Massimo also has sector expertise within telecoms, IT and services and serves as a director with a holding company active in plastics, machinery and real estate. Massimo is able to conduct business in his native Italian as well as English and French.
Gianni Campici has matured significant and senior level experience in executive roles in the banking and finance sectors. The formative years of his career from 1984 to 1998 were spent with Banca Commerciale SpA - one of Italy’s most important banks where he was a sector specialist (oil, rubber and food) based in the bank’s Milan headquarters and from 1995 Director of its Pescara Porta Nuova Branch. After a brief experience at Banco di Napoli SpA, where he was responsible for corporate banking in the North/West region, in 1999, he joined the Banca Popolare Emilia Romagna (BPER) banking group where he headed up the parent company’s operations in Milan and surrounding Province. Over the years, he was appointed to board positions in several companies of the BPER Group including ABF Leasing Spa, ABF Factoring Spa, Meliorfactor Spa and Cassa di Risparmio of Bra. In 2008 he became the General Manager of Cassa dei Risparmi di Milano e della Lombardia Spa, a Milan based bank belonging to Cassa di Risparmio of Ravenna. Gianni received his degree, with honors, from Bocconi University in Milan in Business Administration with a specialization in business finance.
Sabina Grisorio gained extensive international Finance experience across Europe, the Middle-East, Africa and South East Asia in different industries: consumer goods, ICT and chemical. She started her career in 3M and subsequently moved to Digital Equipment Corporation and Kraft Foods. In these companies she covered roles with increasing responsibilities in Financial Planning & Analysis, Corporate Internal Audit, Internal Controls and Corporate Governance, in both Italy and abroad. In Digital Equipment Corporation and Kraft Foods, Sabina participated in M&A and divestments activities, restructuring, information systems and organizational changes. From 2002 to 2009 Sabina held the positions of Director of Internal Controls and subsequently Director of Corporate Governance for Kraft Foods with a responsibility of Central & Eastern Europe, the Middle-East and Africa, based in Vienna. Sabina holds a Bachelor Degree, with Distinction, in Business Administration from Bocconi University (Milan-Italy) and she can conduct business in her native Italian as well as English.
Massimo Scotti has an in-depth background in corporate banking accumulated through years of experience in senior roles with some of Italy’s most important banks. In the years 1971 to 1984 he worked in Banca Commerciale Italiana alongside the heads of the most important industrial sectors. During this time he was assisting G.G. Faverio in managing the bank’s relationship with the Finninvest Group. During the years 1985 to 1992 his was responsible for the bank’s operations in the eastern section of Milan assisting both SMEs and multinational groups. From 1993 through 2004 he took on the role of co-director for the bank’s Milan operations coordinating the lending activities for some 20 branches. With the bank’s transformation into the Intesa Group, he took on the role of Branch Manager for the Group’s largest branch (Milan Porta Nuova). During 2004 to 2007 he worked with Mr. Pier Francesco Saviotti, Head of the Group’s Credit Department. During this time Massimo held positions with both governance and credit granting responsibilities (corporate and branch network). From 2008 to 2009 he was a Senior Advisor at MIT.FIN SpA, a corporate finance advisory firm.

Matteo Paggi is a finance professional with extensive experience in corporate finance, transaction services and auditing. Matteo began his career in the Milan Office of KPMG where he progressed with increasing levels of responsibility performing audit activities in the Financial Services sector. Subsequently, within KPMG’s Transaction Services division, he carried out transaction and due diligence activities. From 2007 to 2010, he joined MIT.FIN (a Milan-based investment banking boutique), where he advanced to the position of Head its Execution Team and followed several M&A transactions in domestic and foreign markets. From 2010 to 2011 he held the position of Head of Execution in Fante (a Milan-based investment banking company). Matteo graduated in Business Administration from Bocconi University (Milan, Italy) and he can conduct business in his native Italian as well as English and French.

Pier Paolo D’Angelo has significant experience in financial advisory activities gained at relevant Corporate Finance and Management Consulting firms. Pier Paolo began his professional career in the Strategy & Development department of a Telecommunication services provider and subsequently joined Deloitte Consulting in Milan, where he performed due diligence and reorganization activities for major Financial Services companies. In 2008 he joined Market Capital, an Anglo-Italian investment banking boutique in Milan, where he took part in several transactions, such as IPOs, M&A and private placements in the Industrial, Pharmaceutical, Biotech and ICT sectors. Pier Paolo holds a MSc degree in Business Administration from Bocconi University of Milan, with a specialization in Strategy and Finance obtained during his two exchange programs at UC Berkeley (USA) and University of Maastricht (NL). Withal, He was a former Fencing athlete. Pier Paolo is fluent in both English and his native Italian.
